We are a small practice, so you and your pediatrician get to know each other. Our schedule allocates time to address all of your concerns about your child. Our pediatricians and nurse practitioners work closely together as a team to insure that your child gets comprehensive and coordinated care. We enjoy getting to know you and watching with you as your children grow and develop - that is the joy of pediatrics!
Pediatricians specialize in all aspects of healthcare for children from birth through age 21. We see patients at regular intervals throughout childhood for wellness visits. At each visit, we answer all your questions about your child's health. We discuss growth and nutrition, sleep habits, developmental milestones and immunizations. Your child will be examined from head to toe by your doctor. We will review age-appropriate safety concerns and discuss behavior. As your child gets older, the issues change. We are happy to talk to you about school and learning problems, as well as your child's changing health needs.
We provide same-day sick appointments and convenient non-urgent appointments. If you are unsure if your child needs to be seen, a phone nurse will guide you. Our nurses have years of pediatric experience and are happy to answer questions about childcare and minor illnesses and injuries. They can help you determine the right course of action for a particular concern. Many patients tell us how they come to rely on our wonderful nurses.
All of our pediatricians are board certified and are Fellows of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Our nurse practitioners are certified by their national board as well. We pride ourselves on our strong academic background and training. We are all commited to keeping current through continuing medical education. We participate in a variety of practice improvement projects, always striving to bring you the best practices and current evidence based medicine.
